The Opportunity: Own Strategic Growth
We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven Business Development Manager to accelerate InfoAgent’s growth across Australia. This role offers high autonomy and is directly accountable for our revenue growth objectives.
You will operate as the primary commercial driver — generating, developing, and closing new business opportunities from first contact through to contract execution and onboarding. This is not a maintenance role — it is a mandate to develop and capture new market share within our core and adjacent target sectors.
Your Core Accountabilities
As the key driver of new business acquisition, you will take ownership of the following strategic responsibilities:

Pioneer the Full Sales Lifecycle: Take complete ownership of the end-to-end sales process, from targeted prospecting and pipeline generation to contract negotiation and ultimate deal closure.

Develop and Execute Strategy: Collaborate directly with the General Manager to define and implement high-yield sales strategies that ensure market penetration and alignment with InfoAgent's ambitious targets.

Navigate Complexity: Expertly manage short and long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. Skillfully navigate organisational approvals, negotiate commercial terms, and overcome complex technical and commercial objections.

Build Executive Relationships: Establish and nurture robust, professional relationships with key decision-makers (C-level, Head of Product, and Technical Leads) within our primary target markets.

Market Feedback and Influence: Act as the voice of the customer, capturing and synthesising market needs to inform product development and working closely with Marketing to ensure messaging alignment.

Performance Leadership: Rigorously monitor and report on all pipeline metrics, ensuring predictability and consistency in deal closure rates.
What We Require
You are a strategic operator with a proven ability to identify, introduce, nurture, and close deals in a remote setting. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential for building executive-level relationships.

Proven B2B Sales Expertise: Demonstrable track record of success (5+ years) in high-growth B2B sales environments.

Domain Expertise: Strong preference for experience selling Data, API, and SaaS solutions.

Automotive/Vehicle Literacy: A solid understanding of the Australian automotive ecosystem, including vehicle life cycles, transactions, and regulatory frameworks.

Contract and Stakeholder Mastery: Expertise in navigating intricate sales cycles, structuring contracts, and securing cross-functional stakeholder buy-in.
